Blog Entry # 4

I think it was right for George to shoot Lennie in the back of the head. Lennie did so many offensive and accidental things that caused George to snap so many times before. In addition to that, he also  constantly snapped necks of mice, a puppy, and later on, Curley's wife. Curley, who lost his hand and his wife to Lennie, went after him with the rest of the men on the ranch, intending to shoot Lennie. Bottom line is Lennie will still die anyway if he and George ran away because Curley is a relentless man who doesn't stop in getting what he wants to be done over with. So instead of Lennie dying a painful death with a bullet shot into his gut, he died a painless but reasonable death with a bullet shot into his head.

Blog Entry # 3

I'm going to agree that Carlson should kill the old dog because the dog already had a life. However, shooting an animal just because it's old and sometimes useless isn't always right. If the animal can be a threat or has a contagious disease that can infect anyone standing around that animal then yes, it has to go. But if the animal is still healthy but very old, killing the animal would be like murdering someone because that person is different than the other. Killing animals is only appropriate if they're in a sickly state. It's not right to kill an animal if it is still in a healthy state, especially if it's young or newborn. There are some animals which are endangered because they're killed off for some particular reason.
A picture of twin puppies I decided to post as a part of this blog entry.

Blog Entry # 2

What I like about school is for the most part I meet with my friends. But I also do like the way my teachers encourage me to push myself to do well. This cost me many important things like spending time with my family, having time to relax, and even my time to eat and sleep! Although those things have been taken away from me, I'm not going to object. I can handle getting 8,6,4,2, or even no hours of sleep at all, going on a full day with no food, keep trying to complete my homework without rest, I aim for all A's. I wouldn't really change anything in my own school customization. School should be a place for students to learn, maybe meet new friends, meet with past friends, and also think up ideas on what they should do when they grow up. There is one friend whom I've met back in middle school who I will never forget. Since the first day we met we've been very close, so close that we call each other by "brother". His name is Avis. He's someone who is unforgettable and takes things pretty seriously.
